Sahel/Sahara Turban

This turban is traditionally worn in the Sahara and Sahel and has various names depending on the language and region of the area. It is most notably referred to as a cheche or amamah. 

Traditionally, these turbans in the Sahara and Sahel are long and rectangular, however, these are square shaped turbans that more resemble the size of a keffiyeh or shemagh.
